The favorite breed of British Royalty, the Gloucestershire Old Spot pig is the perfect pasture pig. Also knows as the "orchard pig," they are excellent foragers and attentive mothers, with a gentle temperament and endearing personality. This threatened breed has won our hearts!
An added benefit of this heritage breed is the richly marbled meat they produce, with depth of flavor that is truly incomparable. Beware: once you've tasted pasture-raised GOS pork, you'll never go back to the factory-farmed supermarket chops!
